Meeting with Teachers
After the successful event in early summer 2024, the exploration of the Fourth Way with OM C. Parkin and Robin Bloor continues and deepens here. Robin is the head of the Gurdjieff Society in Austin, Texas, teaches in the direct lineage of Gurdjieff, and will once again travel from the USA for this event.
The Inner Science, as taught through OM, is connected through Robin with the interpretation of the Fourth Way by the Gurdjieff school. The focus of the weekend will be on the evolution of consciousness in the context of the Fourth Way: “What is the full potential of being human, and how can it be achieved?” Another topic will be the crucial distinction between false and true knowledge in the context of objective science.
Robin teaches from a position of a lifelong engagement with Gurdjieff’s teachings, as well as the direct transmission from his teacher Rina Hands, a direct disciple of Gurdjieff.
In his lecture, OM will address the potential of becoming human and the obstacles that stand in the way. There will be space for your questions and dialogue. The highlight of this international event will be a conversation between OM and Robin in the already familiar format of Drinking Tea.
OM C. Parkin
OM C. Parkin is a spiritual master, mystic, philosopher and book author. He is the initiator of the OM Foundation Inner Science, director of the Mystery School Enneallionce - School for Inner Work and founder of the modern Monastery Gut Saunstorf - Place of Stillness.
The teaching of the Silent Tradition, which he also calles Inner Science, is based on the one hand on the Eastern Advaita tradition (teaching of non-duality, best known representative in the West is Ramana Maharshi), as well as on the teachings of the Integral Yoga of the Indian sage Aurobindo Ghose, and on the other hand on Western paths of experience (e.g. Christian mysticism, Georges I. Gurdjieff: The Fourth Way).
Robin Bloor
Robin Bloor was born in 1951 in Liverpool, UK. He obtained a BSc in Mathematics at Nottingham University and took up a career in the computer industry, initially writing software, and eventually becoming a consultant, and author. He currently resides in and works from Austin, Texas in the USA.
In 1988, Bloor met and became a pupil of Rina Hands. Rina was a one-time associate of J. G. Bennett, a student of Peter Ouspensky, and later, a pupil of George Gurdjieff, and Jeanne de Salzmann. She led groups both in London, where she lived, and in Bradford in the North of England. She was an outstanding movements teacher and an inspirational group leader. She died in 1994 and is buried next to Jane Heap (another first rank pupil of Gurdjieff) in a cemetery in North London.
Bloor leads a regular group, The Austin Gurdjieff Society, in Austin, Texas. He produces a monthly newsletter, The Lost Herald and runs the website, ToFathomTheGist.com. He also organises multiple on-line study groups to study Gurdjieff’s writings and Gurdjieff’s Objective Science (as articulated by Ouspensky in In Search of the Miraculous, and by Gurdjieff himself in The Tales).
OM C. Parkin
The Exaltation of the Serpent
OM gives a brief insight into the history of the fall of the human being and the potential of their ascent. The Fourth Way teaches, like no other, the sophisticated secret knowledge of the evolution of consciousness in the human being—its stages, its obstacles, the importance of horizontal and vertical flow directions in the human system, etc.
OM is both, an Advaita teacher and a teacher of the Fourth Way. In this lecture, he explains perspectives of the Fourth Way on the potential of human evolution.
“Every person is born with the full potential of the evolution of consciousness, but hardly anyone can fully unfold this potential during this incarnation. Only precise knowledge, practically guided and realized in consistent inner practice, can bring this potential to fruition.” OM C. Parkin

The Universe as a Mirror of Man and Fourth Way Techniques
In these talks, Robin will explain scientific ideas and give practical guidance for the self-inquirer. Following the talks, there will be time for questions and answers.
1.Inner Science: The Universe as a Mirror of Man
This presentation will describe Gurdjieff’s ideas on the structure of the universe and how this structure is very similar to the structure of Man. As above, so below.
2.Inner Science: Techniques of the Fourth Way
This presentation will describe Gurdjieff’s techniques for practical inner science and knowledge of the self.
